To check whether the given number is divisible by 19 (or) not, the following 5 steps are needed.

• Step - 1 : First take a number, for example : 3857

• Step - 2 : Now take the units place of the given number i.e " 7 ".

• Step - 3 : multiply this number 2 times i.e 7 × 2 = 14.

• Step - 4 : Now add this number to the given number.

• Step - 5 : it means, 385 + 14 = 399.

Now repeat the same process again,

That is, 9 × 2 = 18

=> 39 + 18 = 57

Therefore, 57 is divisible by 19.

Therefore, 3857 is divisible by 19.
