To check whether the given number is divisible by 23 (or) not, the following 5 steps are needed.

• Step - 1 :- First take a number, for example : 4669

• Step - 2 :- Now take the units place of the given number i.e " 9 ".

• Step - 3 :- multiply this number 7 times i.e 9 × 7 = 63.

• Step - 4 :- Now add this number to the remaining number.

• Step - 5 :- it means, 466 + 63 = 529

Now repeat the same process again,

That is, 9 × 7 = 63

=> 52 + 63 = 115

Therefore, 115 is divisible by 23.

Therefore, 4669 is divisible by 23.
